It was a tough challenge, so how did our intrepid Rowan House duo get on? Andrew Caple reports…
“The weather was excellent on the day with good visibility from the summit of Snowdon. The race distance from Caernarfon castle to Llanberis via the summit of Snowdon was 22 miles with 1575 metres of ascent in total, plus a water obstacle course at the end of the race.
There were 1200 finishers of the race. We were both really pleased with our finishing times as it was much more difficult than expected and we both finished in creditable times.
- Seamus finished in 4 hours 38 mins and 121st position
- Andrew finished in 4 hours 58 mins and 221st position
