Norwich: The Place for Cakes Part Two

Comic Relief Bake-OffRed Nose Day is set to come to Bertrams a day early today when they hold their first ever Bake-Off! Frances Plant has the insider info…

“The Marketing team has challenged all other teams to a departmental bake-off. Everyone is encouraged to bake as many cakes as possible, and is invited to put forward a maximum of 3 cakes per department for judging.

Justin Adams will be judging the cakes/biscuits/sweet/ savoury treats between 9:30 and 10:00 when he will pick winners for the following categories:

  • Best decoration
  • Best taste
  • Best overall team effort (this will be awarded to the overall best 3 cakes put forward by a team)

After judging has taken place, the cakes will be taken down to the canteen for 12pm, where they will be on offer for all between 12pm and 2pm. Mark Duckett and Ian Sheppard will be manning the treats for everyone to sample, all we ask is for you to donate £1 to Comic Relief and enjoy the first ever ‘Great Bertrams Bake Off’.”

Sounds fantastic Frances, I can’t wait to see everyone’s creations!
