A Final Cake Tally

Photo of Birmingham's welcome cupcakes for Macmillan

What could be better for our final Macmillan Coffee Morning report than Birmingham’s welcoming cupcakes? 🙂

We’ve saved the best for last! We had not 8 [as originally reported – Ed] , but nine locations send in pictures from your Macmillan coffee mornings. Here Birmingham have done us proud with lots of cakes and smiling faces all round as Kevin Davies reports…

“The event was held on Wednesday 24th September and the total raised was £180.39.

The organisers and volunteer waitresses were, Joanne Bennett , Teresa Hughes, Connie Boothe , Ann Marie Winston and Marzena Mlezcko, some of which appear in the photos.

Special thanks to all the above as well as the kind staff who donated cakes. A great day, well organised and  a lot of money raised.”

Thanks for getting in touch Kevin! That’s not all the news from Birmingham this week folks, so stay tuned to find out more.

In the meantime, here’s a final look at Birmingham’s participants and yummy cakes plus the news that a magnificent total of £1,528 was raised for Macmillan through all of this year’s coffee mornings. That’s up on the total raised last year 🙂

You clearly like your cake!
