Going for the Big Jump

Jo Trigg tells us about a challenge where the sky’s the limit…

5 members of the The Consortium team from Trowbridge will be skydiving from 15000 ft on June 15th in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance.  We are:

  • Jane Kingman – Category Management
  • Ben Patterson – Customer Services
  • Adam Courthold – Web Team
  • Jessica Allen – Services
  • Jo Trigg from Marketing

We have all elected to take on the 15,000 ft jump rather than the traditional 10,000ft  –  “If we are going to do it, we may as well go for the big jump and make the most of every second”.  Hmmmmm – seemed like a good idea when we were booking it.  Some of us have significant challenges to overcome with regards to a fear of heights  but we’re working on the basis that we’ll get each other through it.

The jump will be at Old Sarum in Salisbury and to help raise some funds – we have set a tough target of £2000 – we’re also planning a full ‘week of cake’ starting Monday 9th June and a one-off lottery.  We’d very much appreciate any support or donations people feel able to provide and have a team Just Giving page.

Finally, we have committed to getting videos and photos of the event so there will be evidence of us smiling/laughing/crying/screaming like a banshee afterwards.  Maybe……!
