Team Name: Perthes Pathfinders

Who are: Christie Stevens, Cheryl Fowler, Mark Lapworth, Abby Slinger, Chris Foord, and Houssam Ahmad.

Charity: Perthes Association

27 or 54 miles?  27!

Why TrekFest?

A great challenge for us all, but especially for Christie – this will be a personal challenge and the start of a healthier lifestyle.

First time or seasoned trekker? First time for all!

Tell us more about your charity?

Perthes Association is a voluntary organisation that supports children who suffer from Perthes, a childhood disorder which affects the ball and socket joint of the hip.A member of the team’s daughter has Perthes disease, so this is a charity very close to our hearts.

How much training have you done as a team?

Not much as a team, as we all work different shifts. However we have all been training and trying to increase week on week.

Most looking forward to?

The views, team spirit and raising money for a good cause. And the finish!

Camping or B&B? B&B

What would be your ultimate ‘Trekkers Breakfast?’

We’re a mixed bag – Abby likes a sausage sandwich, Houssam prefers cereal, Mark likes a banana sandwich and Christie likes an omelette. The rest are up for a full English!

Thanks everyone! Fingers crossed for good weather so you get to see those views!

We’ll be back after the Bank Holiday with the lowdown on everyone else taking part in this year’s TrekFest 🙂
