Nicola Heads for the Hills

Once again, Wiltshire’s Ridgeway long distance footpath is proving a popular destination and fundraising challenge for staff at Rowan House. This time it’s Nicola Black, who like Terri Baylis last year and all the Ridgeway walkers in 2012, is heading for the hills…

Picture of Nicola Black before her Ridgeway Walk attemptI am taking part in the Ridgeway40 on Saturday 10th May walking 40 miles stretching from Overton Hill, Wiltshire to Goring Village Hall, Oxfordshire raising money for Prostate Cancer UK.

You can help me raise money by donating directly to my fundraising page. JustGiving sends your donation straight to Prostate Cancer UK and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more.

Alternatively, if you would like to DONATE BYTEXT: Message: NICB69 £ X (£1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10) to 70070.

Thank you for any donation you are able to give.

Nicola 🙂

Nicola has chosen to support her chosen charity because a close family member developed prostate cancer at Christmas time. She is aiming to complete her walk in a day with him in mind and to raise awareness for a cancer that until now she knew very little about.

  1. Mark Cashmore, Chief Executive says:

The Rdgeway is proving a popular challenge Nicola, so you’ll have plenty of experience to tap into at Rowan House, should you need it.
