Nottingham’s Super Tally

Nottingham cheque presentation to Help for HeroesNottingham‘s Gavin Howard brings us news of a multitude of fundraising efforts from last year

We raised money under the fundraising banner in different areas, they included:

  • Cake bake
  • Van/car washing
  • Pool and football tournaments
  • Jam making
  • Charity walk
  • Clothes collection
  • Fancy dress.

Nottingham fundraising cheque presentationWe have photos from two of the cheque presentations, each for £703.82.

The charities were:

* = a new charity for the blog and Ben’s Den is a wonderfully simple idea. A caravan in Mablethorpe was bought by the Parker family in Ben’s memory, so that families like them who subsequently find their child has cancer can have a much-needed break.

It’s always good to see the final presentation of the donations you’ve made to your chosen good causes 🙂
