Consider Volunteering

CommunityLinkLogoWhilst there are lots of fabulous fundraising and linking-up happening over the next few weeks, we thought today would be a good time to remind you about the third main strand of Community Link-Up: Volunteering.

We have 2 main programmes designed to help with literacy. Stickability links-up with the Bath Rugby Foundation and is available to those of you based in the south-west. We’ve also linked-up with the National Literacy Trust to bring the Young Readers Programme to the Norwich area [NB no longer available – Ed].

Live outside these areas or have a different cause which is closer to your heart? No problem! Volunteer Time gives you the flexibility to take time out from work to allow you to support the causes that matter to you. We’ve already reported on some fantastic stories from those of you who’ve used Volunteer Time in a number of ways. These are highlighted in our Volunteer Case Studies.

Or if you’d like to provide support for your colleagues who need help in some way, then NewstrAid offers the opportunity to become an Almoner.

The links take you to the appropriate Community Link-Up Pages for further information, or you can email us if you’re interested in a particular initiative 🙂
